See also the Cadtracker indoor tracking system (separate listing).
Cadtracker is an indoor tracking system for personnel and components with application in building safety, mining, underground metro systems and security industries. Developed by CAD TrackNav Ltd. who also offer 3D geospatial services through CAD Surveys (separate listing).
The Machine Intelligence Lab is part of the Dept. of Engineering and has two groups working on aspects of 3D imaging:
Computer Vision and Robotics Group
3D models from uncalibrated images. Object recognition. Augmented reality. Human-computer interfaces. Visually guided robot navigation and manipulation.
Prof. Roberto Cipolla´s work is in similar fields to Prof. Marc Pollefeys at the ETH.
Medical Imaging Group
3D ultrasound acquisition and visualisation.
CAMERA is the Centre for the Analysis of Motion, Entertainment Research & Applications.
It is a £5 million RCUK-funded research centre based at the University of Bath. CAMERA where advanced motion tracking technologies are used for developments in entertainment industries, sport and healthcare.
Amongst other interests, Canon is a world-wide manufacturer of consumer and professional cameras. Their cameras are often used in connection with photogrammetric software for accurate 3D measurement. This entry is for Canon’s global HQ.
This is the separate website for the “Canvas” software product from Occiptal (separate listing).
Canvas runs on the iPhone 12 to generate 3D models of objects and spaces for applications such as interior design.
