CD6 - Centre for Sensors, Instruments and Systems Development (P)
CD6 is part of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC - Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya). The centre designs and develops optical systems and instrumentation, many of which are relevant to 3DM.
CTLAB is part of the Central European Institute of Technology (CEITEC) at Brno University of Technology. It is both a research and accreditation lab for micro and nano CT expertise.
Central Scanning offers 3D printing, scanning and inspection services across a wide range of industries from aerospace to medical. They also supply handheld devices from Artec and ZEISS, and software for reverse engineering and inspection, e.g Geomagic Design X, Artec Studio, Zeiss Quality Suite.
CFM´s Survey Division offers drone technology for photogrammetric point-cloud capture and 3D modelling as well as ground-based laser scanning for tasks such as as-built recording.
CFM is part of the J.D. Irving Companies.
The Collège Français de Métrologie (CFM) aims to disseminate good practice in Measurement and Metrology.
It is closely associated with CIM, the International Metrology Congress (see separate listing).
CIM - Congrès International de Métrologie - Intl. Congress of Metrology (P)
CIM takes place every 2 years. It is a European event serving metrology as a showcase for industrial applications, advances in R&D, as well as measurement, analysis and testing procedures.
The event is organised by CFM (see separate listing).
Providers of CAD/CAM and 3D metrology solutions. Services offered include:
- General PCM service work such as scanning, reverse engineering, modelling and inspection
- Resellers of GOM measurement systems
- Resellers of Geomagic and Rhinoceros software
- Calibration of area scanners according to VDI 2634-3
CIPA was founded as the Comité International de la Photogrammétrie Architecturale (International Committee of Architectural Photogrammetry).
As CIPA Heritage Documentation the organization maintains its technological expertise for cultural heritage conservation, education and dissemination.
CIPA´s parent organizations are ICOMOS (International Council of Monuments and Sites) and ISPRS (International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing).
