VMS - Vision Measurement Software (P)

VMS is a photogrammetric software package, mainly for research but it has had commercial application. It is not limited to particular cameras and is suitable for industrial applications, e.g. multi-camera bundle adjustment or camera calibration. Developed by Stuart Robson UCL and Mark Shortis RMIT.

VMT IMS (PI)

VMT´s industrial measurement activities are world-wide. In-house systems are available to cover most tasks. The company is also a reseller of optical tooling equipment, reference artefacts and 3D data acquisition software. Industrial measurement has its own identity within VMT, which additionally offers systems for tunnelling and deformation measurement.

Manufacturer of laser systems and 2D and 3D vision systems, e.g. for robotics. Part of the Peperl und Fuchs group.

Volume Graphics (P)

Volume Graphics is part of Hexagon MI and develops software for the analysis and visualization of industrial 3D computed tomography (CT) data. The company also offers a related training programme (VG Academy) and consultancy in its specialist field.

Voyis

Voyis previously was 2G Robotics and is part of the Covelya Group. They manufacturer underwater laser scanning and imaging systems, also for AUVs and ROVs.

VRscan3D (P)

VRScan3D is a virtual laser scanner for simulating 3D capture with TLS (Terrestrial Laser Scanners / polar scanners). The simulator includes interfaces for specific commercial scanners and is designed as an eLearning tool.

VRSI – Variation Reduction Solutions, Inc. (P)

In the field of 3D metrology, VRSI offers laser tracker measurement services, systems integration and commercial research and development.

VSI – Virtual Surfaces Inc. (P)

VSI offers optical and CT scanning services and associated modelling and reverse engineering.

VyzAI (P)

VyzAI is the sister company to Photo-X (separate listing) offering 3D shape–based AI to consumer and industrial clients. VyzAI shares its location with Photon-X.

Warwick University: WMG - Warwick Manufacturing Group (P)

The group has used Laser Radar and CT technology for metrology input to their research projects.
