The DRS is a group within the Oxford Robotics Institute which is part of Information Engineering, itself part of the Dept. of Engineering Science.
The group researches control, motion planning, mapping and navigation for dynamically moving robots. Their work has application to walking, flying and mobile robots.
April 2021: The group´s work with scanning sensors mounted on animal robots is reflected in current commercial applications.
