Metal Machines is a provider of engineering solutions for the oil, gas, marine, petrochemical and powergen industries. These include metrology:
- Service work using laser scanners, laser trackers and total stations
- Resale of surface scanners from LaserDesign and CMM arms from Tomelleri (see separate entries for both companies).
Metro Metrology is a general 3D metrology service provider. The company also offers3DM software training and rental of laser trackers and CMM arms from FARO (see separate listing).
Metrolaser offers general 3D metrology services as well as training in portable coordinate metrology and rental of equipment from FARO (see separate listing).

Metrology for Aersopace has been an annual and mostly Italian event since 2014. It is promoted with the support of an Italian branch of the IEEE. It covers very wide-ranging measurement issues, including (portable) 3D metrology.
