The Survey and Alignment Group is responsible for the development of measurement and alignment concepts for FAIR, the new Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research currently under construction. (See separate listing.)
The group is run by Ina Pschorn and is also responsible for the high-precision positioning of the existing GSI-machines and experiment set-ups.
