explore3DM is an online resource, based around a directory of systems, services and research, which promotes the take-up and application of 3D metrology in sectors such as construction, manufacture, healthcare, consumer products and cultural heritage.
When fully developed, explore3DM will have many more features such as a library to introduce 3DM technologies. End users will have free access to most features. Directory members can have a minimum presence at no cost and access to more features if they become PREMIUM supporters of explore3DM.
explore3DM supports the further development of 3DM technologies and their application, for example by supporting the 3D Metrology Conference.
New PREMIUM members are encouraged to use the simple POSTER display shown in this current mini webpage to highlight their interests with a selection of images or illustrations next to some explanatory text.
This presentation format can highlight products, services, research resources, etc.
The example (left) shows the snake-arm robot, one of the tools available to the 3DIMPact Group at University College London.
This example is one of Boston Dynamic´s robot dogs. It is part of the extensive range of facilities and equipment available to the team at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University.
This diagram could be replaced by a current CMM model as manufactured by the new PREMIUM member.
